MultiCare Health System's Tacoma General Hospital is the largest hospital in Tacoma and 6th largest in the state. It is a level II trauma center with 437 beds and the second largest obstetrical care center in the state of Washington. Other large hospitals include St. Joseph Hospital and CHI Franciscan Health. These medical facilities provide excellent medical employment opportunities, as well as the businesses that surround and service these establishments.

Commuter Jobs in Seattle

Due to increasing living costs in Seattle, many people commute for work from Tacoma to Seattle in neighboring King County, and with the increase in remote work this is an even easier option nowadays. Seattle’s growing economy offers an abundance of employment opportunities for Tacoma residents.
