No need to stress when you’re in a hurry and hungry! In this blog post we will share a list of our favorite Grab & Go Food options in Tacoma, Washington.
Brewers Row: Brewers is located in Tacoma’s North End and is a hip Mexican restaurant. They have a walk up counter where you order and pay and serve food breakfast til dinner. Call in your orders for burritos, tacos, etc. Our favorites are the S.O.B. breakfast biscuit sandwich, and the Del Fuego nachos!
Metropolitan Market: “The Met” as locals like to call it, is found in the heart of Tacoma’s Proctor district. It offers hot food, grab and go meals, sandwiches, sushi, a salad bar as well as coffee. Stop in for your regular shopping, or grab something quick and use their self-check out line. It also has a seating area after you exit to speed up your process!
MSM: “Magical Sandwich Makers” is located on 6th Ave in the central Tacoma and has some of the tastiest creations around. We love the Deli Club, and don’t forget a couple cookies as well! We recommend calling in your order and then popping in to pick it up, as there is always a wait!
Harbor Greens: This grocery store has an amazing deli complete with sandwiches and pizzas! Call in your order for those, or pop into the store and hit their grab and go selection with sandwiches and more. Their treats are amazing, plus you could grab any groceries needed as well. Located on Bridgeport in Tacoma’s West End, there’s lots of parking too!
El Sabor: This restaurant is drive through Mexican food, and is one of Tacoma’s most appreciated spots! They have seating inside, and a walk-up counter, or the drive-thru for quick convenience. Their tacos, burritos and flautas are all amazing! Find this restaurant on Mildred in Tacoma, right across the street from TCC.
Grit City Greens: Formerly known as Crisp Greens, this is the perfect stop for a healthy meal! Conveniently found on 6th Ave in Central Tacoma, this salad spot has their systems down! You can choose from one of their many options, or build your own.
Northern Fish Co.: Located on Ruston way, this restaurant has the best fish & chips around! You order inside, and they have a seating area outside, with amazing water views. They have quick service, and the food is delicious!
Ezells Famous Chicken: Ezells hails from Seattle and has been around for a long time! The are located in the Hilltop neighborhood, close to the hospitals. Their walk-up counter makes quick work of your order, serving up hot chicken with an array of sides. Their spicy chicken with your dipping sauce of choice will keep you wanting more!
Gather Juice Co: Gather is the juice spot that Tacoma didn’t know it needed. The quickest way to get your food is to put in an online order and then pop into the store to pick it up. They have juice and smoothies, but our favorite snack is the avocado toast- try it with the chipotle mayo, your taste buds will thank you! There’s plenty of seating inside, and the staff is always friendly!
