Best Sandwich in Tacoma WA
In this blog post we will list out the best local places in Tacoma to get a Sandwich!
Located in the heart of Tacoma on 6th Ave, MSM is a locals favorite! The first time that I tried their Deli Club, I fell in love, and have been frequenting this establishment ever since I was a teen. Their sandwiches are packed to the max with lunch meat, bacon, avocado, sprouts, and an array of other items for your enjoyment. After closing their indoor counter during covid, they’ve finally reopened and they have a small seating area as well. Open 10-7 every day of the week!
One word- Aioli. Harbor Greens sandwiches are crafted with such care, you can taste the difference! Harbor Greens is a locally owned grocery store with a deli inside. They have sandwich options to choose from, or you can Build Your Own. One of our favorite parts is that they will heat the sandwich up in their panini press! Open 8am-8pm seven days a week.
Open since 1973, Antique Sandwich Co is a Tacoma classic. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, and have ample seating inside and out. Located close to Point Defiance Park, it’s the perfect spot to hit for a coffee and a sandwich after your morning stroll, or trip to the zoo. We absolutely love their breakfast sandwiches as well, you can never go wrong with eggs and cheese and meat! Open 7am-6pm Tuesday through Sunday.
Outpost has a small, well curated menu of top notch sandwiches. Out personal favorite is the bacon chicken melt, always crafted to perfection. Located in downtown Tacoma in Court House Square, this is the perfect lunch spot. Open 8am-5pm, and closed on Sundays.
The Rosewood Cafe is a quaint neighborhood restaurant, perfect for a lunch with friends. They serve salads and sandwiches, and our current favorite is their Rueben sandwich. During the summer, enjoy your meal in their outdoor seating area, and if you’re going during the colder months, be prepared for a bit of a wait, as this sit-down restaurant is popular! Open 11:30-7:30pm most days!
Whether you’re just stopping in or sitting down, you can count on a fresh, juicy bahn mi sandwich from Toast Mi. The bread… to die for!! Whenever I am in need of Vietnamese food, this is hands down my first choice. The cute storefront and the friendly staff make the experience even better! Don’t forget to try their boba tea as well!
