The park also has a "pick up after your dog" policy to keep the park clean. This policy is strictly enforced, and signs are posted throughout the park reminding visitors to pick up after their dogs. The Fort Steilacoom Bark-Off-Leash Area Tacoma is a great place to take your dog for a walk, run, or play. The area is fully fenced in and has a double-gated entry to help keep your furry friend safe. Ok so, technically this park is in Lakewood, but it’s just a jump skip and a hop away from T-town. At the park there is also a water station for you and your pup and lots of poop bags to keep the area clean. The best part of the Fort Steilacoom Bark-Off-Leash Area is that it's enormous! There's plenty of room for your dog to run around and explore, and you'll never get bored of the same ol’ walking route.
